You name it, you have it. I was thinking quite intensively of Django Django today and here it is: a new album Born Under Saturn is out 4th May. Star bliss. As always.

Had long and good talks today. Explored a few new places. And heard there are many curious things going on in Elephant and Castle. Just as those that are going on in the new Django Django's video I presume. Stay surreal. And take the Hand of Man.

a room for London

Speaking of going somewhere: London is obviously always a place to go :) Yesterday I teleported myself there through a live stream of Django Django's concert. Tonight I wish to be there to see Slow Club. And tomorrow as well as Moshi Moshi informed about their free gig for BT London Live! For now let's just take a tour in this most intimate venue in London: A Room for London. Oh yes, it starts brilliantly with Canvas and then revolves around sounds from Between Sheets of Imogen Heap. Django Django must be from some other galaxy. They have this knack and elegance unequal to all the rest of us. Here yet again they blend their sounds with vision. Quite white. With lots of light. Perhaps even solar.

Came back from London last night. Fully recharged. Fully relaxed. With loads of brilliant British sounds in my ears. It should come as no surprise that Django Django was accompanying me on the way from the airport.

washy, broken and disturbed

A brand new video from Django Django. I really like it. It's so detached, washy, broken and disturbed in many ways. And yet complete both in sound and vision. But I guess it's kind of a default feature when it comes to this band :). See more works from Focus Creeps (yes, lots of Cass McCombs and Girls).

I would lie anywhere

Time played its tricks again. Weekend is over. I then soothe myself with the sounds of Wild Beasts. And again work of Daniel Brereton (the one responsible of the latest Django Django video).



I would lie anywhere with you, any old bed of nails would do, ink up the wound for a crude tattoo, a big old red heart with an anchor stuck through.

I guess I suffer from a British sounds fever. Well, it's not a state of delirium but it's progressing pretty fast. I shall book a ticket to London right away :). It's just so easy and enjoyable to get infected with all these sounds. Django Django sweetly worsens the situation by a few more degrees. I really have a déjà vu feeling while listening to Default. Just as if I was brought years back when I discoverd The Beta Band.
