killing the radio

The state of delirium and fever on every level of my body and soul has been accompanying me during the last few days. Luckily we literally killed a new private radio show with a good friend of mine. Now ending the day with Blitz the Ambassador and Terence Nance. Kudos.

The best things are those unexpected. And when I think about all the concerts of this year, the most memorable, with the smallest yet the most devoted audience, in the coldest yet the cosiest venue and a good friend by my side paying an unexpected visit, was the one of Café de Abejas: a band to watch in 2013. Witty and sharp. Let's be faithful to them, in a real way.

Came back from running, packing and maybe someday will learn Swedish. I do understand something from Peter Morén's new song... akustisk, Holywood ... just to name a few examples ;) I see definitely hope for myself in this endless mission of studying the language of the neighbour. Gaby Moreno published a video to one of my favourite songs of her. It's an expat song. Beautiful and in Spanish. Telling about Gaby's way from Guatemala in pursuit of her music dream. Sung with authenticity and strong voice as it is usually the case when it comes to Gaby's performance.  What a joy to my ears. Read more on Gaby's analog and vinyl (yes!) approach to music here and enjoy the video below. It makes me think that I am perhaps becoming a dog person. I think I really am. Please meet Gaby's dog: Peppy. Isn't that simply a lovely little creature? :) And can you see the mountains of LA? Look closer. Ah, summer! :)

endless layers of fantasy

With this werewolf it seems I keep on being in a twilight mood today :). Vladimirska has been on my radar for quite a while already (most likely ever since I paid a visit to Kraków, although I don't recall now). I am now very happy to see how accurately their retro-circus sounds blend with the visual.
