tapping into my spine | I am chemistry

Yeasayer's new album is in stores today. No joke. Some parts serve as quite elaborative chemistry revision. No complain. Just like sarin, it puts you on your knees. Now we can all tap those tunes into our spines. We are a chemistry. Amen & Goodbye.

I'm digoxin from the foxglove plant
the last remaining VX from Anniston
I'm an ACN and I'm DDT
tap into your spine
I am a chemistry

it's a gas, a sarin for high tea

a C4H10FO2P puts you on your knees
a sulfur dichloride with ethylene
I say it again: I am a chemistry

don't demonstrate with disregard
don't live your life with dreams
of torment in your sullied heart

in her new house

Resonating. Soothing. Promising. Feeling very comfortable in the house of Astrid Swan. And so should you.

good songs | sweet songs | crazy beats

Cinco de Mayo. The one 10 years ago. The release of Blur's Think Tank. Good. Songs. Crazy. Beats. And I still have that T-shirt. Crazy!

stickboy | sweet song

Is that possibly a new king of good vibes? stickboy. Absolutely. How good and sweet a song can be is shown below. Good blend. Sweet. Song. Sweet. Sunday.

still human

As Vonnegut said "Evolution was so creative. That's how we got giraffes." Wondering quite often that evolution played kind of a cruel joke on humans. Still. Daughter's new tune is again a good one. Complete. Good. Night.

underneath the skin there's a human
buried deep within there's a human
and despite everything I'm still human

waking up like an animal
I'm all ready for healing

inner city blues

Monday feels like Thursday.  Good enough. Odd and confusing spring days.

rockets, moon shots
oh, make you wanna holler
the way they do my life
make me wanna holler  (...)
hang ups, let downs

bad breaks, set backs

There is this charm of 8mm. Here wrapped in the sounds from Sidi Touré. Good. Vision.

off-duty vibes

March seems to kind of disappear from my calendar. Literally. Nothing bad about it though... Enjoying my time off with good vibes from Kris Berry. Rum and coca-cola perhaps as well? Anyone?

Tuesdays are usually quite odd. But yesterday was spectacular. Graham's birthday.

writers, writers | concerts, concerts

Dealing with too many gigs? Never. Some you are simply attentively listening in spirit.

hopeful to see them now

"We find our inspiration in old movies, late-night biking trips, second-hand shops, picnics and love." All of which are simply perfect reasons to be a perfect band. I should say I am really looking forward to midnight biking again as much as I am looking forward to Paperfang's debut album that will be released this year by Soliti. I am hopeful to see it.
